This summer I want to get up on the wake-board so I can achieve something on water. I also want to go swimming in lakes because I couldn't last year. ( I fractured my arm ) The main thing I would like to do is go tubing because it is really fun when you go really fast. It is awesome when I go camping with my family because I get to spend quality time with them.

This summer I will also be doing some home/school work because every summer my mother buys my siblings and I text books so we can review school stuff over the summer. She does it so that we do not go brain dead and get our brains sucked out from watching T.V. ( She will probably unplug it like she did last summer. ) Over the summer I need more time with my family than with the T.V. I love my family!!!

My C.C.

One of the main things that applies to my life is Initiative. The way this mainly applies to my life is when I realize there is something to be done I get doing it right away, without being asked to do it. For example, when I see that my homework needs to be done I get up and start doing it. I feel like that needs to be my first priority because if it is my first priority I will get a really good job when I get older. I want to get a good job because I want to be able to have money to buy food, clothing, and whatever I need to be able to have a life. (Not what I want but what I need)

Another example is if I know that I need to start praying more I will start praying more so I can have a closer relationship with Christ. I want to have a closer relationship with Christ because I want to have Him in my heart to tell me what paths to take while I go on in life. I want Him to tell me what paths to take because I know that I will have a wonderful life if He chooses my paths for me. If I have a wonderful life while taking the initiative, I will have a good job(which goes back to the top), have respectful children, and the husband that is right for me. :)

C.E. blog

An interesting news article I found is about Obama trying to take over the personal choices of where we give our charity money. It seems that Obama is trying to sway people to like him. It seems like that because he is taking our money and giving to the charities that would best help him. He wants to control everthing in government and not let us make our own choices. He says that if we give to charity we might choose the wrong ones.

Any charitable non-profit organizasions that we give our money to may suffer because the money that has been given will be taxed by Obama's adminisration. For years Americans had the freedom to give to what ever we want to. This way of giving has gone on for years and has supported both tax payers and charities because when we give money we get a credit from the government for giving. It is good for that charity because it is able to stay running. This mainly is going to effect the economy becuase people are going to give a looooooooooot less.

http://www.humanevents.com/article.php?id=31050

Victor Wooten

Victor Wooten is one of the best bass players ever. Victor plays so fast you can't tell what notes he is playing on the guitar. Here is a video of Victor Wooten:

Victor had 5 brothers and at the age of 3 his oldest brother taught him the bass and at the age of 5 he could hold cords and play for money. The Wooten brothers made a band called Béla Fleck and became a hit band in the 1970s. One of their brothers dropped out so they brought in Jeff Coffin that played the saxophone. So the people that were in his band were his 4 brothers, himself, and Jeff Coffin. The group played a mixture of jazz, funk, and bluegrass. When their group got really famous Victor got hired for many things. That is why he is very famous to this day.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RUkETBD8Qag&playnext_from=PL&feature=PlayList&p=B30DC37C43DDECF7&index=27

http://www.spiritus-temporis.com/victor-wooten/

Character Clue

Humility: Humility applies to my life because the reason I am achieving in school is because my parents forced me to do my best when I was home schooled and to this day they like to see my best. When I was around 5 years old I was home schooled when my mom asked me to count to 100. I would count to the number 9, skip 10, and continue on to 11. The first couple times my mom said you have to say the number 10. After a while my mom said that I had 1 more chance to say ten while I was counting (she knew I knew how) or she would get the whacker. (Whacker= very hard spanking with a black leather strip) So I said 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, __, 11,... Looooooooooooooong story cut short, we went a couple rounds. My hedge was making me respect authority and not to have a quiet disobedience.

brainstorm blog

Trips are what people think of when they are bored. Well, I have gone on some very fun trips such as Disney Land, Shasta Lake, Ohio, New Hampshire, and Manchester Beach. My favorite trip would probably be Ohio because after we spent a week there we went to New Hampshire. Here is an explanation of my trips:

When I went to Disney Land I was only 3 1/2 years old!! My mom was pregnant at that time with my little sis. My favorite character was and still is Minny Mouse. I had so much joy hugging her like most little ones like hugging their favorite character. My favorite ride would have to be the mini roller coaster. I actually remember going on that with my mom. Another one of my favorite rides was the spinning cup that I went on with both of my parents.

Shasta Lake was very fun. I went with my family, friends, and grandparents. My family and our friends rented a houseboat and had sooooo much fun!! We went on the tube(I tipped over once or twice:) ) I also doubled up on it with friends and family. We went wake boarding(I couldn't get up). I rode sea doos with my dad and got soaked because we were going as fast as we could and were doing donuts at the same time!! It was sooooooo much fun!!

When we went into Ohio I was sooo glad because I got to see family. We saw my aunt, uncle, and cousins. When we were there my aunt had a baby girl that got named after me. Her middle name is the same as mine. When I was walking into the hospital to see my new cousin I got gum stuck on the bottom of my shoe!!! It was very hard to get it off. When my aunt was able to go out of the hospital we went to a water place. My favorite ride was probably going down a slide with my aunt backwards!! We asked the lady if we could go forward and she said yes. going forward was waaaaaay better than going backwards!!! July 4 we set off fireworks that are definitely illegal in California. My favorite firework had army men fall from the sky when it was set off. My least favorite firework is the one that malfunctioned and almost hit me!!!!!! The last thing we did was we went to a lake in Indiana on my uncle's boat and went water skiing.

When we left Ohio we went to New Hampshire. We saw our grandparents. We checked out their farm and fed chickens. We also learned that our grandparents live in a house that was attacked by Indians. I went to a museum and learned about the Shakers. We played a couple rounds of soccer on the front lawn. One of my favorite things we did when we went is we drove into Maine went to York Beach and went to this mall thing. At York Beach I caught a live star fish!! When we got back to my grandparent's house we went on a hike. I caught a frog and picked food from my Grandma's garden.

The next summer we went to Manchester Beach on the coast of California with some friends from church. We played tackle football on the beach. I had a cast on at that time and had to wear a plastic bag over it. It was very windy there and my hair was a mess. We drove go-carts. It was sooooooo fun when we drove the go-carts because we raced and did things like that. We also had a picnic at a beach. I HAD A SANDY SANDWICH :) HA HA HA

Christmas

I think that the real meaning of Christmas is when Jesus was born in Bethlehem. People say that December 25th is not the real date of Christmas. I agree with them because it doesn't actually say in the Bible that Christ was born on December 25th. Christmas isn't just about presents it's about Jesus coming into this world to be sacrificed. Most people have heard the word Jesus but don't understand what His purpose was. That is another reason why we need to be out in the world telling others about Christ so they can realize the real meaning of Christmas.

People say the real meaning of Christmas is about Jesus being born into this world, or think that it is about presents, but I think that we celebrate the birth of Jesus (the Savior of all who will accept Him) because we are thankful for how He ended His physical life for us. He went through the ultimate sacrifice and didn't even want to do it. He asked His Father if He had to do it. I bet I would ask the Father if I really had to do it too. We need to think of the Lord's birthday as a celebration. A celebration of His birth into this world to save us and also celebrate the fact that we have eternal life through Him. He is the best gift to give and receive.

C.C. I also have realized that the reason I like school? is because my mom forced me to do my work when I was younger. So I am so thankful that my parents and Christ have taught me the things I need to know for my entire life. I am mostly thankful that God gave me parents who care for me and love me, and not parents who don't care how I turn out when I am older.

Wisdom (Natural Inclinations): Seeing and responding to life situations from God's frame of reference.:
When I am in a hard situation I go to God and ask Him for help because He knows the way out of the situation. Just like when my family was going through a hard situation we prayed for help and we took a step forward out of the situation. He wants to do put a fence there to keep illegal immigrants from Mexico out of the U.S.A.

I think the way Barack Obama can help the United States as president is by supporting this act. It's a good idea because then Mexicans won't take jobs away from Americans in the U.S.A. The way it could affect this world is if England lost we wouldn't be able to worship Christ in our own way. If England lost the United States may have been taken over by catholics! If our country was founded on being catholic we would worship idols and be told what to believe instead of reading the Bible...such as Mary, beads, and religious rituals. I am glad that England won the war because we are able to read our Bibles whenever we want to and we are able to have a relationship with Christ.

King James I: King James I is important because he supported a charter to start settlements in America the main one being Jamestown. Jamestown is very important because it practically started U.S.A. When I say Jamestown practically started U.S.A. I mean because it started harvest, housing, and the people were in reality. Jamestown started this is by thinking what they could do to improve this country. I think they improved this country a lot. I think this because if we didn't have harvest we would die without food, if we didn't have housing we would be homeless, and if we didn't have reality we would be dummies walking around without knowing what is going on.

Character Clue

Love (selfishness): Giving to others basic needs without having as my personal reward.:
The way I love is by helping my classmates with their homework. My mom says I love around the house by taking care of my sister, listening to her read every night, and cleaning up my messes. Loving is caring for what you do and how good you do it. When people truely care about other people they want to help them in hard situations. No matter how hard the work may be they want to do their best and expect nothing back. When we are having a good attitude I mean by not slouching around, complaining, just working hard we show Christ's love. Just like my brothers work for about 2-3 hours doing yard work and when they come back they look tired but don't complain about having to go and work all day.

Responsibility (Unreliability): Knowing and doing what needs to be done before I am asked to do it.:
This world would be a whole different world if every body took responsibility. One way I take responsibility at school is by finishing my homework. A way this world can take responsibility is by accepting Christ into their lives and cleaning up after themselves. This world would be a lot less blameful if people took responsibility for what they do. For example, people blame Adam and Eve for what they did but we probably would have done the exact same thing. So, this world can't blame them because I know I have sinned quite a few time and I know that you have sinned quite a few times. The way I will take responsibility for my own sin is by asking Christ to forgive me for what I did and admit that I am not worthy for Him but strive to be exactly like Him.

Economy

According to "Websters New World Dictionary" economy means: 1. The management of the income, expenditures, etc. of a household, or government. We are living in the consequences of mis management of both; American households and the government. People have been given large loans that they can't afford. Americans have been living way beyond their means with there credit cards than what they bring in (as my parents would say). I think that that's just awful that people are waisting money. The economy is predicted to come back, but I personally think it is going to take a while for it to come back. Just recently, in the past year I have seen someone I know lose their house because they couldn't pay the bills. Now they live about 30 minutes away because they had to move. It's kind of weird to me though how people say, "Oh, I don't have any money" or "I'm so broke" but can still afford to play bingo or drink starbucks or buy cigars at AM/PM gas station.

I think that our government should go for natural gas with wind and solar panels rather that paying millions of dollars for foreign oil and do offshore drilling. I think it would be good if everyone considered the T Boone Pickens Plan because he wants to get our big rigs that carry our goods across the nation converted to natural gas in about three years. That plan would relieve some dependency we have on for foreign oil.

Interview

Teaching sounds like fun, but because there are some hard parts and easy parts I would have to think more about it. A hard part is having to grade all the papers because if someone gets a bad grade, they have to do it over again and I have to grade it. A easy part is teaching the class a subject. A subject I would really like to teach is math. Math is my favorite subject so I would know a lot and be able to teach well.

Getting attached to the kids is a problem for me. If I get attached to a child I teach, I can't bear to depart with them. If I tried to depart with a student I would have to go out with the child every now and then. If I didn't get as attached to a child I think I could get over with being emotional. A good thing is that if you know them well you can see them grow if they stay at that school until they graduate.

All in all from what I heard at my interviews is that being a teacher is rewarding. I think it would be rewarding to me too.

Government

The government is put into place to exercise authority over a state or organization (Webster's New World Dictionary). It's a good idea to have a system like the government in place because with the amount of people there are someone needs to keep this state/country in shape. When I say in shape I mean keeping this state/country from turning into complete chaos. The people/the voters elect government officials in trust that they will make the right decisions for all.

I personally am for limited government. The reason I am for limited government is because we are free and we don't need so much control on us. For example, I don't think that while a person is driving, the government should be able to make a decision on whether they can talk on the phone or not. I say this because people can make their own decisions and there are laws put in place for consequences of bad choices. We have the ability to work hard to support ourselves. We don't need to be sitting on our bottoms saying, "help!" without a brain and be controlled/supported by the government.

Oh yah, "Say it ain't so, Joe!!!"( vote for Palin)
